How much does it cost to get a car detailed?
Well, just to be awkward, we can’t give you a definitive answer to that question, because there isn’t one. Different car detailing services are offered by different professionals, and like all businesses, it is down to the business owners to decide how much they should charge their customers for the services they provide. Car detailing prices can vary greatly from county to county and city to city, although generally, prices can range from anything from £15 all the way through to £250 +.

Which factors affect the prices?
When it comes to car detailing, how much you spend will depend on a number of different factors. For example:

Size of the vehicle – To begin with, when it comes to car detailing prices, many companies will base their prices upon the size of the vehicle being detailed in the first place. Obviously, the smaller the car, the cheaper the price, and vice versa. This is because it will take less time, and be much easier, to detail a small car than it could to detail a very large vehicle, such as a van, or even a Range Rover.

Time spent – Different businesses offer different packages, with many different packages taking different lengths of time. For example, a basic package will not be as complex or thorough, so obviously it will take less time, and will cost less money. The longer and more thorough the package, the more the detailing will cost. After all, time is money, as they say.

Services chosen – Again, different businesses offer different services, and the services you choose will heavily influence how much you spend when getting your car detailed. If you want a basic detailing I.E a carpet and rug vacuuming, a basic clear out, and a polish and quick wipe, you will obviously spend much more than if you went with a luxury detailing in which every single inch of the interior of your car was cleaned thoroughly I.E upholstery steaming and polishing, waxing, buffing, and so on.
